This is the best picture i could take of a drawing i did For my mother’s birthday, I was inspired by a Picture my mother had of her dancing Ballet when she was young, and so I created this and framed it as a present. “To My Loving Mother The Ballerina and my true friend”♥
Thank God I’m Not the only one who noticed this!

It’s been quite a week: losing MCA, Maurice Sendak and Vidal Sassoon! Madness.
On that note, it was quite a bittersweet surprise when the NYTimes called to have me illustrate a little letters piece in honor of Maurice Sendak, which I gladly did. There was one letter especially moving from a woman who was abused as a young teen, and while waiting to see how her future will play out after reporting the abuse she found strength in Where the Wild Things Are.Take a look at the other letters here.
RIP, you legends!
I was inspired by an amazing wall art painting so i drew it, and i could not help but to change the color of the shoes to a ruby red, and add a Quote said by the Wicked Witch of the West, which gives it a wizard of Oz theme to it.
Always remember the sparkly Magical Ruby Slippers!
